Dr. Nealis practices both adult and child neurology. He moved to Jacksonville in 1978 from Boston, where he was on the Neurology faculty at Harvard Medical School. Previously he had completed five years of residency at Columbia University Medical School, Boston University Medical School, and Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from University of Miami Medical school.

Dr. Nealis is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Electroencephalography {EEG'S}. He is the inventor of a special EEG lead sometimes used in electroencephalography for children. He has written many articles in scientific journals and several textbook chapters on topics in neurology. DR. Nealis recently authored a book of historical fiction titled "ONE MAN."
He is a past president of the Florida Society of Neurology. He has been included in various editions of Who's Who including Who's Who in the World, International Who's Who of Intellectuals, and Who's Who in Education. Dr. Nealis is a committed Christian who lives in Jacksonvillle with his wife Grace and they have five children.
